All,

I would like to say that at this time I am the only one that can post original posts, however anyone has the ability to post comments on each of the posts.  I am investigating the ability to add a new page that will allow anyone to post comments and when I figure that out, I will let everyone know.

I thank all of those who have supported the bars. 

June Monthly Tournament Results

It was another successful day of poker. I wanted to start out by giving thanks to the hosting venue, Texas 46. It is a great location with a fantastic staff.

Now to the poker, we had a starting field of 72 with a total prize pool of $1400. As usual, we played down to the final 24 players and took a break for the Calcutta. The final 24 players were:

Leading Qualifier Donnie Loeffler, Toby W., The Mr. Stacy, Andy W., Mark L., Pat B., Pat W., Robert M., John Rose, Marc M., Jacob G., Tracy B., Jim V., Richard K., Jason H., Jim W., Joey C., Eddie Day, Billy L., Blanca, Linda VSP, Lee, Pat R., and Joe K.

After the break, the race to final table was on. Players were falling fast and furious to get us to a final group. After the dust settled, the 10 remaining players, including finishing positions were: 10th Mark L, 9th Eddie Day, 8th Tracy Bohman, 7th John Rose, 6th Stacy Brooks, 5th Pat Williams, 4th Pat Reineke, 3rd Jim Vallencourt.

Final 10 Results

As play continued, the final two standing was Bill (aka Roach) Leach and Marc Maze. It was a back and forth heads up between the two, until Mark found the Raid to kill the roach. The final hand was Marc with J8, Bill with J7.

Congratulations to Marc Maze for winning the June Monthly.

On a side note, there was a bad beat jackpot of $25 that was won by Bob Garnand The hand was 9s full of Qs, beaten by 9s full of Aces.

I want to thank all who qualified and support ACHL.

I plan on using this to allow everyone to check their latest points, find out when and where the next monthly is and to make general announcements of upcoming events.
